Can we all be attracted by the same as well as the opposite sex?

I think its impossible to stay exclusive to one gender because love doesnt conform to gender

No, not everyone is bisexual. Having a crush or feeling admiration for someone is not the same as romantic or sexual feelings.

No, but I’d imagine it’s more common than people think

Like on a sexuality scale of 0-100, I’d imagine theres many more between 1 and 99 than there are people identifying as bi.

There are some women that I love with my whole heart, but not in a sexual way. So... no.

Well, obviously, it's not impossible. What a silly word to use. Many people only fall in love with one person, never mind two genders.

At most I reckon everyone has latent homosexual tendencies but only latent.

Since we all start out as female, there is bound to be traces of attraction towards the opposite sex.

...I don’t even see people...I just see spaces where people could fit into...and then love each other...if they wished...or not...I’m easy either way...

It's a clichéd phrase but sexuality exists on a fluctuating spectrum.

Your attraction to different sexes constantly changes, I think. But for some I think it's less than others.

I think people could be surprised by what they find themselves stimulated by; the ideas of preference and "types" are never really set in stone and you can find yourself changing those like knickers. But I wouldn't go so far as to say everyone is "potentially bi if they give it a try", no, since sexuality is largely driven by what the Id wants and instinctively drives towards.

Not to mention the hypothesis would entirely overlook asexual people, too.

I don't think so personally. I can only base it on myself really - having absolutely no aversion whatsoever to the idea of homosexual sexytime and yet zero inclination for it or sexual attraction towards men. I sometimes wonder if the people who are like "EWW NO!!! are maybe overcompensating or in a bit of denial, but I personally see nothing wrong with it at all and yet .

I look at it this way: If I was single I'd have no real issue gobbling the D. Like it might even be interesting / fun?. But penis doesn't inspire any sexual arousal at all and I've never looked at a male and felt anything vaguely sexual, so I guess that makes me "totally straight"?. Quite boring really. I'd be a fabulous gay :fist: y'all couldn't even.

But the test there is, would you look at the sky and picture a female, or would you make eye contact. If you'd picture a female then is that even gay? Or what if they have a really, really good tuck. Is THAT gay? There are so many more questions to be asked these days.

I was fixing someone's telly today and this is what Janet street porter and her pals were asking the viewers...when I had expertly and effortlessly repaired the to big for the living room tv.

The Nolan kissed another woman to prove her point.

I'm still very much in the 'no' camp but I did have an interesting thought at work, look at Ancient Greece. The Greeks of those days were famously liberal when it came to sex and bisexuality was pretty much everywhere. It was common for noble and royal men to have both male and female concubines and love between same sex couples wasn't seen as a bad thing as marriage was more of a duty then a promise. Achilles is one of the most famous greek heroes of myth and in a lot of the stories, he had a lover in the shape of Patroclus and pretty much every god was either bisexual or had a same sex fling at some point. Also if you were a soldier in a greek army, you would have been nearly guaranteed to have bottomed for someone at some point.

I wonder whether Ancient Greece and pre-Christianity Rome simply had more bisexuals then any other period in time or perhaps they were simply in it for the pleasure and didn't care whether they were attracted to the gender of the person offering it. I'm more inclined to say the latter.

I think people confuse finding someone attractive to actually wanting to sleep with them .
it's 2 different things ,unless of course you find someone physically & sexually attractive then it's both in some cases .

But NO we're not all Bisexual .
Also the phrase "man crush" & "girl crush" gets mixed up as well ,when those things are just about admiring someone and looking up to them / being a fan .
