Water Babies
Day 13, 01:34

Late night pool frolics ensued in the House thanks to Ziggy...

The younger housemates opted to shun an early night in favour of an impromptu pool party.

The liquid-related fun was kicked off by Ziggy in the garden, where he was sat alongside Chanelle, Amanda, Sam and Gerry. "It's very peaceful out here," mused the young man, before randomly deciding on a new course of action.

"Shall we get our trunks on and get in the pool?" he enthusiastically suggested. The response was immediate from the group, as they all sped off to the bedroom to deck themselves out in the right clobber.

"We're gonna have a pool party. How fashionable!" squealed Gerry. But attempts to add Seány to their number were not greeted with initial approval. "Guys, I've just moisturised!" pleaded the 25-year-old charity worker, refusing to join the others.

However, after the pool dwellers enjoyed thrashing their limbs around in the water, a feeling of uncertainty gripped them. "What do we do now?" asked a baffled Ziggy, seemingly oblivious to how a pool party should proceed.

Cometh the hour, cometh the Seány. Shunning his skincare worries to deliver a cunning plan, he jumped in the pool armed with the suggestion of "Rodeo!" The housemates then took turns to sit on his shoulders for some bucking bronco shenanigans. No one managed to stay on for longer than three seconds though, but that didn't stop them lining up for repeated attempts.

All worn out, the party then opted for a group shower session, heading to bed shortly after. One rule has certainly been learnt in the House tonight - if in doubt, splash about!

Let's Get Serious
Day 12, 23:59

Nicky's feeling old before her time...

Poor Nicky. She's doing her best to keep an eye on everyone, making sure they're all fed and watered, but she feels everybody thinks she's a bit of a wet blanket.

"I'm a little bit worried," she confessed to Big Brother, "well, not worried, but I don't want to be perceived as the moaning one."

"I've noticed that because I'm 28," she continued, "I'm in the middle of the young ones and the old ones and I'm worried that the young ones will perceive me as moaning, moaning, moaning about the food, or whatever, like an old person moaning."

Don't forget to breathe Nikki...

"They don't realise I'm doing it for their benefit," she said. "I don't do the whole singing thing and they might think I'm excluding myself or separating myself from them which isn't the case - I think they're all lovely. I just don't wanna sit around singing all day."

"I am fun and I am a laugh," she assured Big Brother, with furrowed brow, "but I don't feel like that side of me is coming across enough, because I'm occupied with worrying about the food."

"Maybe I'm taking it too seriously," she laughed. "There's more to me than being serious all the time."

"I'm fun goddamit!"

Yes you are Nicky - now go out there and have some...

Gerry the Pacemaker
Day 13, 09:51

Monday morning finds some housemates more energetic than others...

Gerry sprung into action as Big Brother woke the housemates with an alarm call pitched somewhere between a car alarm and the most irritating sound ever heard by humankind.

In seconds, Gerry was dancing to the alarm in a perky and cheerful manner. Moments later Seány joined in, trying to inspire the rest of the housemates to boogie. But it was to no avail.

The upbeat antics of the newbies failed to get the seasoned Big Brother housemates excited about an overcast Monday morning. They were having none of it.

Tracey simply got up and silently started making breakfast for herself. Perhaps she wasn't in the mood for such cheery antics or maybe the alarm just wasn't hardcore enough for the veteran raver.

At precisely 09.51 Big Brother treated any housemates still sleeping to a second burst of the teeth-grindingly annoying wake-up alarm.

After a third blast of the alarm a groggy Nicky asked, "What time does it look like? Half sixish?"

Chanelle nodded.

The fourth ear-shattering alarm was too much for Charley who sat up and shouted: "This is doing my head in!"

Meanwhile, energetic Gerry set about grooming Ziggy by styling his long blonde hair into a beautiful ponytail.

Lesley's Diary - Pt 1
Day 13, 10:00

Read the first instalment of Lesley's blog...

All this week, former housemate Lesley will be keeping a diary of her post-BB experiences and you can read it here, exclusively, on the Big Brother website.

Find out how, in her first weekend out of the House, Lesley enjoyed life in the fast lane, learned how to pose for the paparazzi, and fell head over heels for the lovely Dermot...

Saturday

One of the perks of doing this is the chauffeur-driven car. I do hope it drags on. I like these sort of gorgeous bodyguards-cum-drivers. I'm used to driving in the slow lane and I'm reluctant at my age to get into third gear. They swoop along overtaking and that's been wonderful!

So after leaving the House I was swept home, and I was a little bit disappointed to find everything so normal. There wasn't a lot of evidence that the place had fallen to pieces.

There were paparazzi everywhere - they were charming, really lovely. And I remember what Kate Winslet does, she always gives them a shot - stops and smiles. So I gave them a Kate Winslet.

One of the few things about Big Brother that I liked was my mattress, so getting to my own bed was a huge relief but it wasn't as significant as it might have been. I think it was more the bath, or more correctly, the three baths I had between arriving home and going to bed. The fact that I could bolt and lock the door was a pleasure.

Saturday was a quiet night at home and my husband had thoughtfully provided strawberries. I hope I don't prove to have some sort of allergy to them as I'm eating them in the excess at the moment.

Sunday

Sunday was very exciting because again they sent a car for me. I think I'd like one at nine o'clock every morning to drive me around Gloucestershire and bring me home. I could get used to that.

I went to do Big Brother's Little Brother, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Everyone had told me that Dermot O'Leary was reason to do it, and of course I hadn't got a clue who he was. But when he came towards me I could see stardom twinkling from his very pores, and fell in love with him instantly. I pretended to be a little wobbly on my feet so I could keep holding his arm.

I had a really super day at BBLB. It gave me an opportunity to slightly explain myself, and Wendy Richard was there and it was interesting meeting her.

I don't know what I've got planned this week, but offers are flooding in! I could be promoting mangles at this very moment...
