Well I just got back from seeing Lateice Royale,with ha new husband :fan:, live... and needed to brag about it... so I thought a tread about the live drag we've seen was necessary!

So... Latrice's husband is a-dorable... he sang and played the piano and the harpsichord. Talented man with soooooo much love for his husband.

And Latrice sang, did two costume reveals on stage and one off... did the most epic lipsync I have ever seen... better than anything she did on the show... and basically told her life story. How she came out, how she left home, started drag, went to jail, missed her mother's funeral... it was all laughter and tears.

...awww I can feel how excited you are../...how much it’s uplifted you..?...:lovedup:...I have to say...please don’t judge me...I’ve never been to any life performance and drag queens in general are a fairly new fascination of mine...it’s only this year that I got Netflix so am still catching up with Drag Race and haven’t seen any Allstars or untucked yet...ooops...


...I do love their stories though...I mean the drag is fabulous, obviously...but their stories...as you say, laughter and tears in equal measures...although the ‘queen rivalries’ are fun, the ‘queen bonds’ are the most beautiful things..:lovedup:...
