...I was thinking about this the other evening when I was out for a meal...and there was so much food on the plate, I’m not someone that eats huge amounts and I get really upset about wasting food...so a ‘pet hate’ I guess, a real thing with me....what are some of your pet hates..?...

apart from that, i hate being disturbed when i'm busy .... that really annoys me

I have when lovely old buildings are replaced by ugly things made of metal, glass, and plastic.

Modern "Art" is also disgusting and effortless trash.

The mobile phone use in every quarter now.
Out for a meal, even adults with children, both adult and child with their eyes on their phone.

Walking round the street, a store or even in meetings.
It seems a growing number of people just can't leave the phones etc; alone.

I always only use mine once alone.
Or for speed in an emergency.

A few weeks ago. I saw a large number of schoolchildren going to the same school.
All walking separately with their heads stuck in their phones.

Just walking out into the road too, never even looking if any cars are heading their way.
Sign of the times I guess.

i like a lot of animals

but i guess some stray cats here around where i live annoy me quite a lot especially when they go s**tting in our garden :(

but we got a very animal-friendly garden, for insects, birds, dogs i never use any pesticides since we have a dog and she's eager to put things in her mouth from the garden :omgno:

I agree with that. I look at some of the older architecture, then I look at the modern stuff... where's the beauty? Modern buildings have all the architectural merit of a shoe box. If money is one day not a problem for me, I will pay to have the atrocious walkie talkie building cluster bombed on behalf of the Institute of Architects.
