But Rylan Clark-Neal has hinted that Big Brother could return to screens next year, as he marked the show's 19th birthday with a commemorative Twitter post.
The presenter and longtime fan - who hosted sister series Bit On The Side - told fans he 'hoped' the show would be back on screens in time for its 20th anniversary next year.

In other words it's wishful thinking, and he has no real inside-information about a return.

Too soon if they're looking to "reboot". 25th anniversary is a possibility.
There's obviously still an appetite for reality TV but BB needs a longer break if it's going to feel "fresh" again.
Epic.

He's right. Apparently a few channels are interested in rebooting Big Brother. And they are on about for next year having the launch on September 15th 2020. Exactly 20 years to the date since Craig Phillips won it. They are on about having the civilian series from then until middle to late November. Then Celebrity Big Brother will be back for a 3 or 4 week stint January 2021. Again Emma will be main host. And Rylan on bit on the side.

I can guarantee they won't.

They are also on about Marcus Bentley still having a voice over role but more of a minor role as in the big brother diary room asking the housemates questions. But having a complete new narrator for most of the show of the goings on around the house.

Someone who I know who works for Channel 5. Channel 5 are showing some form of interest to have it back but other channels such as ITV2 ITVbe and Watch are more interested.

If it comes back, that would be awful, he need to be the narrator, it wouldn’t feel the same if he wasn’t, just tone him down

Why would someone who works for channel 5 know anything about endemol's negotiations with other broadcasters?
Channel 5 do not want it back.

Lol I highly doubt it will ever be back on Channel 5 considering they are the ones that ruined it, oversaturated it and caused its cancellation in the first place.

It would be nice to have it back next year for the anniversary, can’t see it happening though, maybe in 2021 for its ‘21st’

ITV buying it is the best and most realistic option in my opinion. They have loads of money and I don’t see why they wouldn’t want another big reality show for their channels. They could air CBB on ITV2 and normal BB on ITVBe.
BUT I’m not in a massive rush for it to come back, it needs at least a few years’ rest.

The idea of ITV casting a regular BB gives me nightmares and CBB would be all Love Island and Towie twats

I mean it would be totally scripted
They tell the people on Love Island what they can and cant talk about it and push then into conversation they dont want
