So my 80s and 90s party planning is underway and I have ordered 2 inflatable aliens off ebay but my wife is having a go at me saying not only are they are waste of money they aren't a 90s thing so....

Did anyone else have an inflatable alien in the 90s. I did

So it counts for 80s too!

I remember they used to give them as prizes in every funfair in the 90's

Inflatables were all the rage, inflatable furniture and glow in the dark stars etc, lava lamps...

There are more 90s things to buy before you get to inflatable aliens but I do know exactly what you’re referring to.

Well I've had 4 pints but that's a once every 2 months trip to the pub with my uncle I don't get to see much

And I make conversation she just doesn't seem interested...

I know I already can make a lot of it myself but Inflatables I can't make homemade

In all fairness the argument wasn't over drinks so I'll get back on to topic

What other props etc should I get or make

I'm making giant rubiks cubes out of cardboard boxes

Got a killer playlist

I have iconic tv and film quotes pics celebrities dotted around

I have neon cassette tape bunting glow sticks etc

A pineapple balloon a flamingo balloon, making a giant boombox out of cardboard for the dj equipment

And now 2 aliens hahaha

So anything else...

The inflatable aliens were definitely a 90s thing. You used to see them in football crowds.
