Trump's words being taken one step further.
We've reached stage two in a potential chain of events: Trump-gunshop-customer-act of violence
'How is this not inciting violence?': gun shop billboard targets the Squad
North Carolina billboard calls congresswomen ‘The 4 Horsemen’ in what anti-gun violence advocates call an incitement to violence

A gun shop in North Carolina has erected an advertising billboard invoking an apocalyptic prophesy to mock the progressive Democrats Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts in what anti-gun violence advocates call an incitement to violence.
The billboard, which went up over the weekend, puts images of the four progressive Democratic congresswomen under the phrase “The 4 Horsemen Cometh”, and goes on to describe them as “idiots”.
The Cherokee Guns’ owner, Doc Wacholz, has denied that the billboard on Route 64 outside Murphy is a deliberate provocation. “I’m not inciting any violence or being racist. It’s a statement. It’s an opinion,” he told the Asheville Citizen Times.
However, he then made racist and incorrect statements about the four leftwing congresswomen of color.
“They’re socialists, from my point of view. I also feel a couple of them, being Muslim, have ties to actual terrorists groups,” he said.
The signage joins previous Cherokee Guns billboards that have depicted words or images designed to denigrate Muslim Americans.
In 2017, the store posted an ad for “INFIDEL ARMAMENT” it read in block letters above Arabic script and a rifle. In 2015 the Asheville Citizen-Times reported a billboard that said: “Give me your tired, your poor … Keep your Syrian refugees.”
The incident comes after Donald Trump issued provocative tweets telling Omar, who is Somali American, and her colleagues to “go back” to where they came from. The four congresswomen have become known as “the Squad” and are prominent and vocal critics of the president.
But some groups warned that Wacholz’s advert is a step toward actual violence.
“Threats against members of Congress, particularly minority members, are [trending upward] and it is driven by the president’s racial rhetoric,” the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence wrote in a statement. “This is dangerous!!!”
In a tweet on Wednesday evening, Tlaib asked how the billboard could not be considered an aggressive inducement.
“How the hell is this not inciting violence?” she wrote.
Pressley tweeted: “#Racist rhetoric from the occupant of the @WhiteHouse has made hate our new normal. We are still vulnerable.”
But appeals for civility appear to be falling on deaf ears. Wacholz amped up his attack when the store posted a statement on Facebook that said it planned to produce clothing with the billboard’s image.
“Alright my fellow Infidels for Trump … due to OVERWHELMING demand … you may come by the shop (next week) and get your very own FOUR HORSEMEN COMETH STICKER … simple … eat a piece of bacon … tell us you’re voting for Trump in 2020 … then get your limited edition bumper sticker! (While supplies last!) Snowflakes and Liberals are not eligible … sorry

The issue isn't them being called idiots, it's them being lined up in a row on an advertising billboard for a gun shop clearly designed to evoke a "target practise" image. A dumb and thinly-veiled threat. It's not a very realistic one and I don't think it's going to immediately lead to any attempts on their lives, but it is part of a very dark attitude that's slowly but surely creeping in, that is inevitably going to end in someone being hurt as a political target.

As discussed previously, discussing pro-Israel policy is not anti-Semitism. Holocaust denial is obviously abhorrent, yes, but again where is the EVIDENCE LT. The article claims to be discussing a narrated video clip. Where is the clip? It's not there or linked? All you've offered as evidence is a "Daily Beast" article. The Daily Beast, LT. Come on.

Claims of anti-semitism are often backed up with quotes that are critical of Israel rather than anti-Semitic, so obviously (if criticism of Israel is OK, and not anti-semitism) pointing those out as false examples should be appropriate? I said literally in the same post that holocaust denial is abhorrent . And obviously anti-semitic.

Contradictory post there, if people are allowed to criticise Israel then by definition they are not antisemitic are they? if all they do is criticise Israel.
To be an antisemite they would also have to say something antisemitic.
To effectively incite the shooting of 4 women even considering one them had ( not suggesting they have) but hypothetically say one had at some point said something offensive...then this is an acceptable scenario? They are guilty or guilty by associat ion and this is a perfectly rational, reasonable and preportiobal response?

Whataboutism and false equivalency, yet again.
You can't dismiss terrorism by trying to divert attention elsewhere just because you feel defensive over the term 'right wing' and you can't make out that throwing a milkshake over someone is the same as shooting them dead or inciting violence against them. Right wing terrorism is a real and growing threat that is recognised by security agencies on both sides of the atlantic. 'Left Wing terrorism' is just something fragile right wingers are desperate to throw about because they feel more protective of right wing terrorists then they do about condemning them and having to accept that something is wrong.
