We actually had a 3 day powercut at Christmas (23rd-Boxing Day), it was pretty nice we sat around playing board games. It was actually really fun.

I’ve also had a power cut in my area before and lasted for about a week. It was really eery at night with no street lamps on.

Yes you could but it seems better when you have to.lol, you don't get distracted by Tvs etc.

I know but it's better if there is no power Michael as there is no other sounds like Tvs etc to distract you.

Oh yea that a very good point

I actually think it would be a good thing.

Candlelight is really nice.

Talking with people and family I do a lot anyway but it would be increased in a power cut of prolonged length.

Going walking too,.

It would be so welcome all the noise gone for a while.
Just being right back to the very basics.

Actually being forced to be in the dark, I think could prove more enlightening.
For near everyone.

I love that 'survival' mode where we HAVE to make the best of what we have,I like to improvise and struggle a bit as it makes you appreciate everything we have.

We had a 3 day power cut at Christmas a few years ago, so I packed up the squad and we descended on my brother

Well Michael's access to the forum has cut for 7 days.

It's not a power cut, but anyway.
