Do you mean you remember a thread that can't be found?
I tried both search methods on the forum and couldn't find a thread like it either. I did find the TiBB members as Star Wars characters thread though.

Ewan McGregor Confirms Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney Plus Series to Shoot Next Year
By Will Thorne
Ewan McGregor has confirmed that he will be reprising the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi for a Disney Plus series centered around the powerful Jedi, after Variety previously reported that he was in talks for the series.
At Disney biennial D23 convention in Anaheim, Calif. on Friday, McGregor provided more details about the prospective show and explained why he decided to pick up the light saber and don the Jedi robe once again.
Producer Kathleen Kennedy said, “We have all the scripts written we’re ready to start shooting next year.”
McGregor previously played the character in the three “Star Wars” prequels “The Phantom Menace,” “Attack of the Clones,” and “Revenge of the Sith.” There had been talk for years that he would return as Obi-Wan for a standalone film, but those plans were reportedly paused after the unsuccessful rollout of the “Star Wars” standalone film “Solo.”
The character later becomes known as Ben Kenobi in the original trilogy, in which he is played by the great Alec Guinness. In arguably the most famous Obi-Wan scene, he mysteriously disappears after being struck down in a lightsaber fight with Darth Vader. He later uses the force to guide Luke Skywalker and appear to him as a spirit.
The Obi-Wan series is the third live-action “Star Wars” show coming to Disney Plus. The streamer, which launched Nov. 12, has previously announced “The Mandalorian” from Jon Favreau starring Pedro Pascal, as well as a series based on Cassian Andor, the character first introduced in “Rogue One” with Diego Luna reprising his role from the film.

am currently loving this miniseries, only got last ep 6 left for tonight
definitely true that Ewan channels more the Alec Guinness portrayal side of his character, and little Leia, well you soooo see bits of her mom in her, very good storylines overall, one messy bit when infiltrating the enemy base i was like why not put on that stormtrooper outfit to blend in more but this is just me having played a bit too much of hitman :joker: and now i know blending in best option when infiltrating especially when there is a facial scan drone patrolling

Finally seen this show :joker: it's quite good!
This is gonna sound weird, but when Vader was speaking, it didn't sound right? It sounded a bit choppy and fake, like someone was using one of those talk-to-text things, with JEJ's voice fed into it?
And thinks gonna sound weirder but you could somehow tell it was Christian Andersen in the Vader suit :joker:

I think it was some sort of AI generated voice. They used the same tech for Mark Hamill's voice in another series.

There wer just a couple of times it sounded really off, almost like that episode of South Park were all of Chef's lines were taken from prior episodes and mashed together :joker: but Darth Vader sounding "robotish" is fine, he's three-fifths of a man shoved into a robot suit.
