Would Jade be the Face of Big Brother if she hadn't died?

Apologies if this thread comes off in poor taste, but hearing about the documentary made me think - could Jade have been the face of BBUK?

Arguably she was until her death/the controversy, and since then Nikki has been the poster child for BBUK. But could that have been Jade? Would we have seen Jade on BOTS every other day? Would Jade have done the Time warp twist? Would she have been in UBB?

I'd say that she still is, tbh. No number of spin-off appearances will stop her from being the first person that comes to mind when BBUK is mentioned. Especially among casual viewers.

Brian and Nikki were always going to be the final 2 of UBB. I don’t think Jade has any shot of reversing the reputation in such a short series - much like Makosi.

She’d probably have been first or second out. The first eviction was within days - not enough time for her to change any perception

Lmao are you joking? Jade was one of the most famous reality stars in Britain, even people who didn’t watch BB at the time knew who she was. Her CBB5 stint had everyone talking, she did a lot for cervical cancer awareness and the documentary that was recently on reminded people of Jade and lots of people have been talking about it. You must have heard of her before surely.

Even my mum, whos been obsessed with BB since it’s inception, had completely forgotten how big she got in the media world. She was the original Reality Star and no one will ever replicate her level of success I don’t think.

But they got their show from being children of a famous athlete and the others children of a lawyer in one of the biggest court cases in American history. They had fame and fortune, which gave them reality TV success. Nobody would've been interested in Kim's sex tape otherwise, either.

Not sure it can be measured in the same light as a young girl from a rough background being thrown into fame and fortune via being a contestant on Big Brother.
