How do you hide someone's tweets without blocking or unfollowing them? My brother and cousin both incessantly tweet and make RTs about the EU stuff and I just don't care - they each have total opposite views on it, so as I hardly follow anyone all I see is bitching about it from both sides.

Obviously I can't openly unfollow them, as they take social media more seriously than I do and they'd see it as removing them from family or something haha, but I don't wanna see it.

Click on the little dots in thief profile and there should be a mute option

You won’t see their posts, and you won’t get notifications if they DM you

Wicked, thanks! I'll have to check my DMs every so often just in case then haha

In the app you can also press the down-arrow next to a retweet post, and select 'Show less often' then 'Show fewer Retweets from', and then you pretty much don't see retweets anymore from that person. I think you have to do the same for 'liked' posts also.

The retweets and likes are kind of infuriating on Twitter I agree.

Oh nice, thanks!

I'm a bit of a grandad when it comes to social media...
