I still have DVDs but the last one I bought was about two years ago.
All the time.
I love my DVD collection, I'm proud of it. It's money spent over a lot of years with something to show for it.
I have around about 800 films, and most of the great British sitcom boxsets.
I started collecting about ten years ago when I realised that the TV didn't put good programs on anymore, so I needed good things to watch.

I too got a bit confused. When I put in Halloween 4k it says its unavailable but when I put Halloween 2018 it appears.

I've been trying to get BSG back from Amazon.
Basically if I have to, I will buy my favourite Shows/Animes/Movies on Blu-Ray/DVD, but if I can put them on my Amazon account instead then I will.
I have got to buy a lot of my favourite stuff back though as a lot of them have broke due to age.

I don't buy many but it was about downsizing rather than not wanting them, mostly just horror and favourite movies now.
I see most movies in the cinema now though, unlimited savesxme so much money

I rarely ever watch films so no, I probably watch a film once every three months or so and that’s not an exaggeration.

Yeah but never bothered with Blu-Ray, am I really missing out though? Is the difference really substantial?

I definitely prefer physical media - I use the repective players for the main five channels, but otherwise I can't be bothered with faffing around with streaming services.
Then there's the thing where shows or movies change service - someone who uses Netflix for the MCU is now wasting their money, but no-one can take away my DVDs <3

On topic though, no, I don't even have a blu-ray or dvd player. Well, I guess I technically do as I have a PS4 but it's never had a film in it :umm2:.

Don't buy but I used to rent from Lovefilm until Amazon took it over then shut it down. With Lovefilm I liked how you were under a bit of pressure to return discs so you could receive another one. That meant you got through more films.
I have thought about subscribing to the only remaining DVD rental service cinemaparadiso.co.uk , but haven't got round to it.
Don't own a Blu-Ray player. I honestly think you should be able to watch a film on a relatively small TV, and still enjoy it if the story, characters, themes etc. are good enough.
