Tbh I think if they have RTV stars it will be one and that's it and will focus on actors/sports stars of forgotten singers

If they stick to the calibre of the US version they should most probably avoid reality stars and ideally soap stars unless there extremely known. The format relies on the celebs to be instantly recognisable to most viewers otherwise the format wouldn’t work.

Was thinking Mary Wilson from the Supremes would be good if filming didn’t clash with DWTS, and they’ll probably have more than one American because of Ken.

It’ll be interesting to see what the AU version will do with Lindsay Lohan which is said to have a mix of aussie and international celebs so I imagine this will be the same

Its different though with how the masked singer works, she'd definately be famous enough for CBB or DOI or maybe even I'm a celeb (that's pushing it tho tbf) but for the masked singer they have to be instantly recognisable to most viewers otherwise the format doesn't work.

She doesn't fit the requirements imo, a loose women like Martine mccutcheon though would. Coleen Nolan probably would as well, although I dread the thought of her taking part :umm2:

Well looking at who could potentially be appearing, I already believe that there's a possibility Amber Gill and James Argent could be involved. This is due to the fact that both of them were initially planned to be involved with DOI next year, but obviously ended up not getting their spots, so I'd garner a guess as to say there's a possibility ITV could of offered them places on the Masked Singer instead.

And guys the US version literally has NO reality stars in either of its seasons so I’m hoping the UK will stick to that. Same goes for most soap stars as well, if they’re just famous for one thing they won’t have enough clues to go by

I think the one that looks like a doll is amber davies. Just one note she hit it just sounded like her voice. So it will be interesting to see if im correct

I highly doubt it. Literally none of the contestants from any version around the world have been reality stars as far as I know (I’ve checked aha) unless you count former Idol/X Factor contestants who have gone onto bigger things.

So yeah I could be wrong but theres good reason to be optimistic
