...we’re off to Southern Spain pretty soon so obviously I’m following it quite closely...I was talking to my son yesterday about the storms he’s experiencing, pretty scary...and 6 deaths atm..?...the power of nature can be a deadly thing..:sad:...

yes, well what makes it even more sad, some dog rescue shelters are in that area too, i saw via our late evening news show Hart van Nederland, one dutch owner of ''Silver'' a rescue shelter for dogs, cats had been affected but luckily she managed to evacuate all dogs, cats to safer locations, some of the cats in her own home upstairs

...at least all of the dogs there were got out safely and are in other shelters, that’s the main thing, Nicky...

we have a holiday home in the area, thankfully all is well, and the rain and wind have passed on now, RIP to the dead, some of the pictures are horrific, something similar happened about 5 years ago, not quite as bad though
