Protests from certain lesbian groups, not happy the attention is being focused on trans gender people rather than themselves.

LOL. Lesbians are sick of being told they must shag people who are male, else they are bigoted terfs. Transactivists recetly protested a lesbian visibility march..as apparently saying a lesbian is an adult human female who is same SEX attracted is abuse to them. If the lesbian is not same 'gender' attracted, she gets endless abuse.

So yeah, i get why some lesbians are very pissed off with the state of things today. Its dragging attitudes waaaaay backwards to claim lesbians should just try shagging males and they might like it, and even that they are transphobic because of their sexuality. Yet, this is dressed up as progress. Its unbelievable really.

Is there an issue acknowledging someones sex? Sorry but when it comes to sexuality, actual sex is important for many (or even all). Some lesbians may go for it, but some don't, and those that don't should not be getting abuse for..being lesbian, ie. same sex attracted. Its a huge step backwards to be telling gay people that basically, they cannot be gay else its bigoted.

Also I should maybe state at this point, I am not referring to actual transsexual women. I am talking about the many many hangers on who claim the label 'transgender' and think its fine to bully lesbians..

I think I get what you mean now, I agree that lesbians shouldn't feel bullied into 'being attracted' to trans people, at the end of the day, you are attracted to who you are attracted to, no one else should be able to dictate that. I do wonder if perhaps either side of the arguement is getting crossed wires in all of this though, trans stuff is sometime notoriously difficult to debate due to some terms not really working anymore.
