The BBC is overhauling how the UK act for the Eurovision song contest is selected, scrapping the public vote in favour of teaming up with a record label to choose the singer and the song.

I just looked at some of their current artists and didn't realise Ray BLK was signed to them. She won BBC's Sound of 2017 and was the opening act of Nicki's UK tour, she has loads of bops out already, been stanning ha for a while but don't think she's the type who'd do Eurovision tbh. I really hope this pays off. I feel optomistic but I do every year, however because of the change to internal selection it sounds promising. BBC, don't mess this up.

To be fair, I feel like any of the artists in this record label will only want to sing a decent song they feel that will do well. I just want to see us do well, left side of the table or even top 10. I don't think we'll win but I just want it to happen sometime in my lifetime.
