Not exactly ground breaking numbers but still double last years final and hopefully will have a large official.
I'm hooked already!

I just hope it stays over million so there's a chance for more seasons.

If they brought back Big Brother they would get a 3m+ launch.

Nowadays it won't. In a few years it may.

I may binge watch it on the weekend depending on how the next 3 episodes are.

Its dipped to 600k per episode (lower than BB19) so safe to say it wont be returning for a third series.
Enjoy it while you can!

BB19 only got the ratings it did because it was the last series.
I really doubt theyre gonna axe the circle yet. Love Island took 5 series to get to the point it is now at ratings - channel 4 are wise to that and especially with the format being sold to, what, 4 different countries? It wont be going anywhere yet

Love Island was basically getting what 600k? during series 1 but jumped to nearly 1.5 million by series 2.
No comparison.
Channel 4 saw the potential with this franchise given the interest after series 1 but if ratings stick to 600k there is no way in hell they would bring it back for a third series.

I like the circle but Love Island almost doubled each series that aired and showed great improvement in interest and viewing figures, even increasing from the launch itself in many seasons

They have factors to consider though.
Theyre still experimenting, theyre aware that people arent watching because of it being 10pm, and that theres mixed reception to live shows. I see them giving it at least one more shot because theres still potential there.

If they want higher ratings they should put it at 9 instead of 10

You're overcomplicating it.
If it stays at 600k it will not return (imo of course).
No channel can afford to "experiment" for 3 years.
Isn't 600k good for 10pm idk?

Yeah it’s not bad for 10pm.
If it was 9pm I would agree it would 100% be axed, but it’s a pretty average rating for 10pm (not bad like dan is claiming, as ch4 has never got good ratings at 10pm) and I imagine it’s cheap to run/film, and so I wouldn’t be surprised if it did have a season 3

You’re being a bit dramatic sksksk at least wait for the official ratings

It’s not terrible for Channel 4, especially as they’re winning the slot with 16-34s. They’ll be wanting a rise though as it doesn’t look like a cheap show

Naked attraction was on at 10 and got over 1 million I thought

Absolutely not lmao - it was on a Wednesday (or Thursday) at 10PM and this isn’t counting All4, which literally most people I know are watching it on... it gave it a massive boost last year at the end of it. If they cancel it though we still have international versions in the works by Netflix...

Ive said I think it may gain a lot of viewers on ALL4 as that's how I watched last years series. Binged it and loved it.
Why are people getting so defensive? lol And I'm not being dramatic i'm just stating it as it is.
600K per episode obviously isn't what Channel 4 were hoping for and it seems like an expensive show to run.

People are only as defensive as you are dramatic.
After literally one episode on a mid-week late night getting 600k and suddenly its being axed? Lmao

2 midweeks at 600k...Awaiting last nights.
Sets the standard for the rest of the series.

I made the thread praising the show and just stated that it probably would be axed (as any other show would) with low ratings.
Its an early show post! Ratings may change.
****ing hell pardon me for having an observation.
