Provide some evidence of the scepticism making sense and we can go from there. It may already be too late for us to do anything about it, or it may not. But the fact that an overwhelming number of scientists in this field tell us it's happening, plus the evidence we can see with our own eyes, makes it an uncontroversial position to hold.
