This.
I do like Rory, but I think he has his eye on bigger things.
London Mayor being one of them.

Rory Stewart, the man who said last week that the only thing he is launching this week is his sons toy boat...

In time a sad loss to the Cons.
Treated abominably by Johnson and the present Cabinet.

I respect Rory.
I wish him well in his standing for Mayor.

He'll certainly help ensure the Con candidate has even less chance now than the poor chance he had before even.

Rory could have united the Country I think.

His face of Conservatism is a good place compared to this extreme one in place now.

I quite like Rory. I expect a fair few MPs will quit the party entirely before long (and thats only if they dont get sacked for diobeying boris..) as..well the tory party is quickly becoming an utter joke. Same with Labour tbh, and others. IF any of them want to be taken seriously thn they kind of have to leave the ****show behind.

I think Rory could make a great mayor tbh.

Obviously depends on his policies, but if they are any good I will vote for him for Mayor

lets face it anyone who comes after Khan who has been a complete waste of time can only be an improvement

I wasn't aware Khan had designs on the Labour leadership, is that where his energies are being diverted, if they thought Labour was unelectable under Corbyn, the party will sink like a stone under 'unable to get anything done' Khan

I suppose you can see why a man who's longest term in the same job is 18 months, has suddenly decided to go against the current mayor when you look at his fathers Wikipedia. ...

Just another failed youth not up to his father's standad's. .or perhaps a youth given favour because of what his dad did or knows!!

Sadly I can't see Rory winning to be Mayor of London.
Although I'd love to see him pull it off.

One of the really better politicians to have been in Parliament, respected by all Parties.
Good principles, what a chance missed, by him not being taken the chance on in the Con leadership election.

For what the UK is left saddled with now.
