I'm surprised it took us as long as eleven months into the permanent off-season to move onto JFK conspiracy theories, frankly

you suggest Lee was a hitman for someone, well there was thought of that one guy Jack Ruby, right

idk maybe someone who hated Kennedy, like which group of people was John F Kennedy against?

and probably there you'll find whoever hired Lee, Jack for the assassination

I've just re-watched the Oliver Stone film JFK, so I thought I'd put the question to the forum.

Excellent movie. And yeah, it was an inside job. I would recommend that you listen to Johnny Carson's interview with Jim Garrison (the guy the movie is based off of). That interview is in a lot of ways more interesting than the movie itself. It can be found on youtube.

In the past year or so I watched a documentary that makes a compelling case that the Zapruder film is an edited video. Many eye-witnesses and people who have claimed to have seen the unedited version of the Zapruder film, claim that JFK's car comes to a complete stop for a couple of seconds at the time of the fatal head wound. So they had to edit it to make it seem like the car doesn't stop. I subscribe to this belief.

Seems suspicious that Lee Harvey Oswald the alleged assassin would then get killed , I don't think he acted alone :suspect: .

But don't get me started on conspiracy theories .

The evidence makes clear that Oswald never fired a shot. A police officer found him 90 seconds after the shooting on the 2nd floor drinking a coke when the shooting is alleged to have taken place on the 6th floor.

The Oswald theory is a joke and it has been demonstrated so many times it's breath-taking. Even former presidents think it's a joke. Look at former president Bush laugh when he talks about a "deluded gunman" killing JFK. It's a joke.

Do you think Oswald shot Officer Tippit?

No, eyewitnesses to Tippit's murder say it wasn't him. The evidence suggests (just like they say in the movie) that Oswald didn't shoot anyone that day.

Here is the Johnny Carson interview I was talking about earlier. The vast majority of Americans and almost all British have never heard it. It really is a fascinating interview worth listening to because it touches on all of the issues. In this debate Jim Garrison absolutely DEMOLISHES Johnny Carson so much that Johnny later vowed to never have Garrison on his show ever again. Must listen to interview for anyone interested in this subject.
