Heidi Allen: Former Tory MP joins Liberal Democrats

MP Heidi Allen, who quit the Conservative Party earlier this year, has joined the Liberal Democrats.

The MP for South Cambridgeshire left the Conservatives in February over its Brexit policy and other issues.

She subsequently became the leader of the fledgling Change UK but left after the party's failure to win any seats in the European elections.

She is the fourth ex-Tory to join the Lib Dems in recent months, after Sarah Wollaston, Philip Lee and Sam Gyimah.

Her move means the Liberal Democrats now have 19 MPs, eight more than at the start of the year.

With now so many former Cons joining them and the number of old Lib Dems who served in the coalition.
We have a Lib Dem party in make up now, that supported the near hardest austerity measures. The hurtful, heartless degrading testing of the sick and disabled, who supported solidly the bedroom tax.
Freezes on benefit increases and the running down of public services.

They claim to be solidly against a no deal brexit, yet will be prepared to risk leaving Johnson in power.
So Swinson is NOT determined to stop no deal at all really.
Invoking memories of the Lib Dems massive deceit on tuition fees.
Signed public pledge to abolish them.
Then trebling them.

Voters trusting the Lib Dems under Swinson, would at best be unwise.

This is now just another Con Party.
