[Kurdish forces have halted all operations
against Islamic State in order to focus
on battling Turkish troops, according
to Kurdish and US officials.
Syrian Kurdish fighters had,
along with US forces, been tackling
the remnants of ISIS,
after the terror group was defeated earlier this year.
Urging moderation by Turkey
during its assault, Mr Trump warned
Ankara that it would be hit
hard financially if it did not "play by the rules".]
Many have Said
the Kurds will blow up bombs
in Turkey
after this move , sadly

Another indefensible decision by the draft dodger who tried to defend this decision by saying that the Kurds didn't help the Allies during WW2 which is an outright lie as they fought alongside the UK forces.

Looking into more I pretty much agree - by and large I'm not a fan of intervention, but when things have been established and even a passing semblence of order has been formed, pulling out without putting things in place is pretty bad.

That's the thing though, it's not even intervention, The US went in, the Kurds helped us and them and now they'll be branded as terrorists and killed because it suits Erdogan to do so. If the US was to go back to help the Kurds, that wouldn't be an intervention, that would be them going back to defend their allies from an attack the US allowed to happen.
It makes me so ****ing mad. Allies are allies, you don't bring someone into a war and then leave them to die by an invader's hand. It's just... Evil.

The US is planning to send more troops, potentially numbering in the thousands, to Saudi Arabia following an attack on its oil facilities last month, which the two countries have blamed on Iran.
Reuters reports:
[Sources familiar with the matter] did not specify exactly how many troops would be deployed or specify whether they would be replacing any other American forces that might be departing elsewhere in the region in the coming weeks or months.
The Pentagon has yet to announce, for example, whether it will replace the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and its strike group when it eventually wraps up its deployment to the Middle East.
One of the sources said the United States was also considering deploying additional air defenses to Saudi Arabia. That could not be immediately confirmed, however.
The Trump administration’s decision to send more resources to Saudi Arabia stands in stark contrast to the president’s withdrawal of troops from northern Syria.
Trump said earlier this week of his Syria decision: “I campaigned on the fact that I was going to bring our soldiers home, and bring them home as rapidly as possible.”
The Guardian

Turkey’s military incursion against the Kurds – US allies in the fight against Isis — is “a ****show”, said Noah. “Thanks to Trump’s impulsive decision, people are now fleeing Syria, the Turkish are now bombing the Kurds, and over 10,000 Isis fighters could be back on the loose.”
And in the midst of this disaster, Noah continued, Donald Trump “is responding the only way he knows how: by being petty as hell”. In a press conference on Thursday, Trump defended his decision by saying that the Kurds did not help the US in the second world war. (They did, in fact, assist the Allies). The argument is ridiculous, Noah said, though “to be fair, not helping in a war is one area President Bone Spurs has experience with”.
One major concern of Turkey’s attack is the likely release of many Isis prisoners, though this didn’t seem to concern Trump; asked his thoughts on the threat this could pose, he responded: “Well, they’re going to be escaping to Europe, that’s where they want to go.”
“That’s really heartless,” Noah said. Trump also needs Europe, because “without Europe, there’s no Romania. Without Romania, there’s no vampires. Without vampires, you don’t have a lawyer,” Noah said over a picture of Rudy Giuliani. “And then who would the FBI indict?”

...the lives which are being lost is just too sickening for words...he had the power to abandon them and leave them to their deaths...and he used that power, knowing fully what that would mean...Trump owns the blood that is being shed...

Honestly, we live in a timeline so crazy that it wouldn't surprise me if this is all a tactic to try to give rise to islamic terrorism all again so they can demonise arabic people with renewed fervour whilst taking attention away from Right Wing Terrorism.
Trump's too dumb to think that far ahead as this is just about his interests in Turkey but I bet the Republican PR machine is already working on that spin in advance.

We need more actions than just condemnation from the international community, If Trump's not gonna help the US' allies because of his own conflicts of interest then everyone else must step up with sanctions, measures, tariffs and pretty much everything that can be done to pressure Turkey and then Erdogan should be dragged in front of the UN and face justice for these war crimes.
One thing we can unfortunately learn from China is that trade is power, cease all trade with Turkey and leave them flailing in the wind. Consequences for this genocide attempt must be swift and severe.
