I’ve been bedridden for the past week so if I didn’t know the difference between a cold and a flu beforehand I definitely do now.

No. And actually I normally end up with a cold in October every year but this year I haven't. :amazed:

I had it last week after it had gone through every one else in the house. Horrible.

My Dad and Auntie's went into a chest infection which was nasty. All cured now though!

Nope, I've done very well this year not to catch anything. Especially as I work with the general public.

My flatmate has just given me his cough :(, worried it’ll turn into more than a cough

Don't think I've ever had the flu before but had a cold on and off for a while now

Yes at the beginning of October I had a really bad sore throat but I came across these and it helped so much, especially when I was trying to sleep.

Well i've been quite ill with a virus - If you have proper flu you know it ! why does everyone think they have flu - flu and its complications kills people , a stinking cold lasts a bout a fortnight and for some like me turns into a chest infection needing anti biotics. Horrid symptoms but i could still get out of bed !
Flu decks you.

I used to say I probably had flu when I had a cold.... then I got the flu.

Hope you're all better now, Red x

Had it for over two weeks, it was horrible. I'm a lot better now but still have excess mucus.

Still exhausted and phlegm-y in the throat.

If I was closer I'd pop you round some chicken soup. Get better soon x

I claim that virtual chicken soup still. I’m sure it’s divine.

It’s refreshing that this was just before Covid became an annoying part of the differential diagnosis that some people/papers just can’t let go even 5 years later.
