This protest had nothing to do with Diwali whatsoever. She’s completely turned the story towards her agenda, especially the stuff about there being no women at the protest (when she’s prone to insulting other women on twitter but that’s irrelevant I guess). These people are protesting due to the Indian occupation on Kashmir and innocents being killed on Pakistani soil. This movement has been going way before Diwali and the fact that she’s trying to paint this horrible picture of Muslims is disgusting. I’m a Sikh person and I know these people have pure intentions and are fighting for the right cause, the fact that Hopkins is taking advantage of it for publicity is a bit desperate on her part.
