Belevarde express, 4.30 Taunton tomorrow.

Do it each way please, even though the person who gave me this will have been told to back it to win he told me to do it each way...

I know and trust him well enough to know he told me each way to protect my money if it gets pipped at the post. .

So I am doing it each way..

HORSE MURDERERS!!

tbf you'll still get 5x your stake for a place, so it's not a bad bet IF your mate's info is good. I would suggest that most "tips" are trash, though. Good tips don't get shared around publicly (because that sparks a flurry of bets which alerts traders and drops the price like a stone) - if you want ACTUAL good tips, hang around a counter and listen for what the guys who are handing over money in "bundles" rather than single notes are asking for in whispers then muttering to each other about.

In all my time in a bookies I never got into horse betting - but there were a handful of occasions where the big hitters were getting tense AF and whispering about random horses and I'd go and stick a fiver on them elsewhere. And then alert our own traders :joker:. Quite a few did indeed win.

ALSO - some more industry factsss - syndicates price-bait. The more bets there are on a horse, the more its price will drop, which pushes the price of others out (e.g. pushing an odds on fav out to evens)... The syndicate then bets heavily on the ACTUAL favourite, whilst the chumps they've leaked a false tip to get nowt :joker:

Nothing more satisfying (in a bookies) than tipping off the traders and then watching the screen as a price plummets :flutter:

Had a greyhounds regular (£50k-a-month punter :umm2: ) who was literally like a Scottish version of that exact scene. He once had a guy pinned to the football coupons by his throat, when our regional manager was in, who kicked the other guy out of the shop for "bothering the customer". Threatened to "get me fired" so many times it became a running joke.

He died a couple of years ago and I can honestly say it's the only time I've ever heard about a death and my only thought has been "meh".

You can't assume that a horse tipped for one race is going to be a good tip for a completely different race Parm, part of their info might have been that the paper favs for the race weren't likely to run as well as expected by the bookmaker.

I mean as always the actual correct answer for maximum financial gain over the medium to long term is "don't gamble".

It's an unraced horse and the info came directly from the trainer..I think the horse is worth following...so I will..

I will private msg Cherie the next time.
