The highest number of BB editions in a year is 25 - which occurred in 2002, 2003 & 2006. There is a good posibility that this record could be broken in 2007.

At the moment there are 24 confirmed editions for 2007.

13 have already started and 11 more have been announced. The future editions are

BB8 USA (July)
BB2 Africa (August)
GH5 Argentina (likely August)
BB3 Finland (likely August)
BB4.1 Poland (September)
VB2 Serbia (likely September)
BB4 Croatia (likely September)
GH9 Spain (September/October)
LS4 Canada (likely October)
CBB2 India (likely November)

Possible/Rumoured (not confirmed)
BB1 Turkey (October)
VIP3 Bulgaria (Q4)
BB7 Netherlands
Proba 2 Serbia
VIP3 Belgium (admitedly unlikely)
Teen 2 or Celebrity 2 Philippines

So we only need 2 of these editions to be announced to break the record.
