The cut-off period for nominations was October 31, 2018-August 31, 2019. Which would explain the absence of big hitters like Kanye, Post Malone, fka twigs and, erm, Charli XCX in the album categories.

It's been a rough year for music so there's only a handful of smaller artists I'm sad not to score a nod or two (Weyes Blood, slowthai, Nilufer Yanya, Sharon van Etten, Foals, James Blake).

But only three nominations for Taylor :omgno: Lizzo has the most (eight), followed by Lil Nas X and Billie Eilish (six).
