Well they kinda are because they don't get that much food compared to what they get at home. They know what they signed up for but you can't help wanting a bit a chocolate or another treat. As Jason said they are living on 500 calories a day.

People even said Ian was being miserable regarding food, and I think they're all getting a bit like that.

...it’s usually an edible treat, so that’s where their thoughts would always take them...when hunger is the thing that occupies you most, I get their disappointment completely...it would have been a human instinct...

It’s the sugar craving ... it will effect most of them terribly eventually
