It’s Week Nine, and Lord Sugar asks the candidates to meet him at the world-famous BBC Maida Vale studios in London. These studios have played host to some of the biggest music artists in history, from The Beatles to Beyoncé.

This week the candidates will need a good eye for business and an even better ear as they are challenged to become music managers. Each team must audition unsigned artists, choose which one to represent and then head to a studio to create a new remix of one of their tracks. The end goal is to secure sales of the record at their own showcase events. They’ll need to produce a good track and make strong sales if they are going to end up top of the charts in the boardroom.

For one team there are creative differences in the studio as they fall out more than the Gallagher brothers. On the other team there is a compilation of calamities as they fail to harmonise.

Back in the boardroom it’s time to face the music as Lord Sugar separates the chart toppers from the one-hit wonders. For one candidate there will be no encore, as they are told – 'You’re Fired!'

The final six is quite weak tbh, not really bothered about who wins out of this bunch.

I like Thomas, but his win loss record was atrocious and it was time for him to go.

Similarly Marianne just ended up selected to the final boardroom too many times to survive anymore.

I more or less agree, I had a similar issue with last year post-Jackie. They've done this twice now where they hype up one person as like the driving force of the series and then randomly shaft them in the ninth week and leave a bunch of people where I only mildly know their personalities.

If that’s true I think it’ll be a shock result. The task is made for Pamela to win but I really don’t believe Lewis and Dean will have a single ounce of knowledge on it and it could see Pamela’s exit.

I think the 3 girls on the other team will all have good knowledge on it and sail through. Sugar probably should’ve split the boys up just to even out the teams unless he’s really trying to put Pamela to the test :shrug:

Gutted for Thomas but this week was too much, that song was terrible! Such a nice lad, I hope he will come back for an All Stars series if there is ever one. He deserves a second chance.
Did not see it coming for Marianne, I really thought she was going to make it to at least the interview round. But I don't care for her.
Overall, Scarlett and Carina are my top 2 for the moment. I can't see any of the boys winning, and I'm here for Lottie getting ripped apart in the interview round lmao

He might swap Scarlett and Lewis around to be fair as Scarlett and Lewis were not shown on the next week's preview.

But if he just moved Dean to the other team, Pamela's team is in a major disadvantage.
