My constituency is a bit of a hard one to call (Sarah Woollaston defected from the Tories to the Lib Dems, but I think we were about 54% Leave)... but Labour did finish 2nd here in the last election, so I'll stick with them.

Voting SNP. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

My Tory constituency leader only won by 600-odd votes in 2017, Labour came 2nd

Similarly, the MP in my constituency, who is a Tory, only won by something like 200 votes last time round? SNP came 2nd, and they won the time before that.

Probably Labour out of necessity, I care more for Green's policies typically but voting for them is ultimately a waste and this election is too important.

The tories must be stopped, they are willing to sell the ****ing NHS from underneath our feet.

the doctors were specially invited to a labour event, so its more than probable they were labour supporters in the first place. That makes them biased.

For me the interesting take away from that news event was Corbyns refusal to respond to the question put to him on antisemitism. He behaved like a petulant child. Do we really want a PM that refuses to answer questions on issues that are important to the people? because it's not the first time he has behaved this way

You have to ask yourself in that case why are they supporters..What are this govt doing wrong that our doctors are not supporting them?
Whether they are Labour supporters or not it does not make the information in the document less pertinent.

Deflection to other issues is not helpful there are other threads for thst discussion. He attended at least and the responses he gave were honest, at least one leader can be relied upon to be present for scrutiny?

I have been on LBC all day and watched the news and its gone as a news item, as i said when a BBC reporter at the event dismissed it as a damp squib in his report about it, its dead in the water.

"The infantile games played by Mr Corbyn and almost every Labour leader for the past 40 years in order to “weaponise” the NHS, as Ed Miliband put it in 2015, prevent politicians from making improvements for the benefit of the taxpayers who fund it and want it to work properly.

The Conservatives have shied away from reform for fear of being accused of privatising the NHS not just by Labour but by the great army of NHS employees who are wary of change, even though they know its top-heavy structures and inflexible systems are inimical to delivering the top quality health care that could be available to all.

Rightly or wrongly, the Conservatives are not only wedded to the NHS pretty much as it is established but their spending promises are only marginally less generous than their opponent’s. An analysis by the Institute for Fiscal Studies says that under Labour, the NHS would receive 2.3 per cent more funding by 2023 than the Tories have planned for. The NHS budget will have risen by £40 billion in the 10 years of Conservative-led government, hardly the actions of a party intent on running it down."

Every medical organisation has warned us about another tory government and the damage this will cause on top of what they've already done. They aren't political bodies, they're collections of professionals that only care about the healthcare they can provide, and the conditions they're working under.

Disinformation. .. the NHS has in the last 10yrs has gone from bein in the black to the red there are stats if you care to look.
Creeping privatisation has raped the most lucrative services.
The last health minister wrote a book on how best to achieve a private health service in the UK so it's not surprising that the NHS has been cut to the bone in the hope of exposing 'flaws'.
You can't rely on the conservatives on figures, they don't have any costing they never do and boris invents new hospitals daily...6, no 40 new ones! Pure fantasy :/

The NHS needs a huge overhaul, pretending its run well and its just about funding is what has been holding it back. I think i read that NHS hospital staff take 4 x times the national average sick leave.

When my old mum finished her hospital drama which amounted to about 9 months in and out she had amassed 10 full litre bottles of skin cream and enough liquid morphine to sedate Wales - plus lots of other stuff that would have cost a fortune and was not needed. etc etc

Then ask yourself why the staff are under so much stress is it due to staffing levels? Which of course is linked to funding, there is no one issue it's a catalogue of contributory factors. None of which privatisation would solve.

Was it ever thought to say no to the offer of medication offered to your mother if she had an ample supply?
That's a drain on resources people taking things simply because they are offered.

Not exactly...

that said much of Labour’s vision is of a state not so dissimilar to those seen in many other successful Western European economies. Labour’s proposed increase in the size of the state would still leave UK public spending at a lower share of national income than that seen in Germany. Water companies are more often than not in public ownership. And, for example, collective pay bargaining is widespread in many European economies.*

I do have sympathy for diane abbot though, I honestly, and with a hurting heart, believe she may have the beginnings alzhiemers, or something similar.

Sad if true but then she shouldn’t be having a major say in the country’s policies ..

I thought she had diabetes , though tbh ..

She is as absent as rees mogg..maybe not as much in photos. ..but on the telly she is one all with rees mogg...
Both absent.

Im afraid she's either in the early stages of dimensia or that cheap gin on the train took its toll, n karma bit her big booty and turned her alkey

That's what I think anyway, you can all think what you think.

Popping the Champers on ice for you.
I will raise a glass of coke if the forecast is anywhere near true.

85% chance we will swing back to Tory here.

This poll is an excellent example of how far off the National feeling TiBB actually is.

The average age of the poll is probably about 25-30... it’s not actually off the ‘national feeling’ whatsoever
