Conan is the only one I've ever liked (watching highlights of it on youtube). Never been much of a talk show person/fan.

Dick Cavett was a classic talk show host
this is how its should be done, listening, empathising, allowing the guest to speak

Graham Norton but I preferred him on channel 4 or BBC Two when he would get celebs who didn't often give interviews or get normally closed off ones to open up and have a laugh.
I mean, he's still good at that, but the guest list is 80% of the time more predictable now he has Jonathan Ross' old slot. He has to have the latest movie stars, instead of getting people a little more from left field.

Graham Norton can be a scream though - never would you normally see, for example, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Nadiya Hussain on the same couch and that’s part of its charm I guess.

Agreed with Wendy Williams. I also like catching up on The View. Graham Norton is also quite good.

Oh definitely, he's still good value. I just wish he wasn't forced into having the pimp slot. He could do anything when he was doing his own thing on BBC Two.

Also, I really like Ellen but find her show unwatchable. It's basically 5 mins chat, 10 mins advert, 5 mins screaming audience, 10 mins advert, 5 mins random game, 10 mins advert, 5 mins more chat, 10 mins advert, 2 mins ending.

She’s a weekly blessing
In terms of U.S. late night talk shows, Conan, Colbert and Seth Meyers are probably the best (Hasan Minhaj as well; his isn't a late night show but it's in a similar vein)
None of them compare to Craig Ferguson though
Now all America needs to do is let a woman host a late night show that isn't on TBS or at 1.30 in the morning!
