real big brother fan will watch it to the end.. even if the twists arent good at the beginning, they WILL get better,

At the end of the day, it's one thing to say that you find it boring, but quite another to continuously invade thread upon thread with constant whingeing about it.

Usually when I'm bored with it I either post in Chat & Games or I don't post at all. When something interesting comes up, I tend to get into a discussion.

i don't want to write an essay but i think that every year people are expecting it to get better, so BB are trying to do things different every year and that includes the housemates. so they reach peoples expectations, this is why we have forums like thisso the public can say what they like about the show and what would make the show better. i don't think its borin i think everybody in the house should stop moaning and enjoy the experiance or else they will regret it, everybody has different approaches to this years big brother. and i agree if your going to moan why come on here, people come on here to say what they like about the show and have debates not to say you don't like it so build a bridge and get over it there will be another BB next year. if i didnt make any sense then ignore me but i had to get that off my chest:wink:

I am not prejudiced, I highlight the failings by C4 / Endemol of all the series.

In order to have the right to point these failings, one needs to have a degree of involvement.

It's a tough job, but someone has to do it.

Because I happen to hate this series with a passion. And I will look at the bad sides - I would be a gormless idiot of a television viewer not to.

However I shall still feel the need to come on here and talk about it , simply because I can and I want to.

And im still a real big brother fan , in my opinion at least.

And when we are on THAT subject , where are the others? The Matrix??? Disneyland???

A person has a choice as to which thread they wish to read. Normally you can tell what the thread is about by the title. An I hate BB title will indicate the person starting that thread might dislike Big Brother - Yes? You then have the choice not to read it.

As for this whole fan thing - Why be a fan anyway? Why not just like a show!

However, I'm devastated that big brother australia has just ended. I was LOVING series 7 and I'm holding out for an All-stars series like US.

I think fans should be allowed complain if they think it's bad, of course, true fans will stick by the show but just because they're a true fan doesn't mean that they have to pretend to like everything about it. I would like to think I'm a "true" BB fan which is why I have always watched it since I became addicted to it, but if I see problems with it and things I don't like I will complain about it, but it doesn't mean I'm going to stop watching or stop posting at the forums, and nor should I be expected to just because I don't like a particular series.

I think the producers have made a mess so far of this series, and that's my opinion, and I'm not going to stop posting here and I'm not going to stop watching, and I'm not going to pretend that I think this series is one of the best neither.

You said you had to get this off your chest... so why should people who don't enjoy the show so much be expected to keep their opinions to themselves?

This is a discussion forum for talking about Big Brother. Not everyone thinks this is a great series, and they are entitled to say so. And if a TRUE fan of a show is someone who would watch something which they thought was rubbish, rather than spend the time doing something they enjoy, I'd rather not be a true fan.
