Saw it today. Maybe I'm a bit thick but I think I understood about a third of it.

I think I should have watched a subtitled viewing so I could follow the dialogue better - the music is very loud.

Yeah, I understood Inception when I saw it.

I'm sort of tempted to see Tenet again to fill in the blanks, but I don't really like it when people say 'I need to see it again' to defend something that they think they should like, haha.

It was ok, you kind of get the gist but honestly I didn't really care enough to want to go back and try and understand it all [emoji38]

I think the best time-travel related films I've seen are still The Terminator and Back to the Future.

Those two are pitch-perfect in how to do time-travel, in my opinion.

Yeah those were really good. I also really liked Looper.

TV time travel 12 Monkeys and Dark are really good

The problem is (for me anyway) it's not intriguing enough to get you to go back and watch a 2nd or 3rd time

The Film Company will not like you.

 I'm sorry film company, I was really disappointed, I loved Inception so much and came out thinking, I need to re-watch that straight away, I thought about that film for a long time afterwards, Tenet was a massive let down for me

Have you watched Memento? No Nolan film has topped that. :flutter:

I watched it years ago probably back when it came out, I really need to re watch that one because I can hardly remember it (pardon the pun)

It’s literally like watching two films that are the same film happening in the past and the present at the same time

I still didn’t really get why him dying would bring on the end of the world

I was saying in the last film you watched thread that a part from it being confusing, the characters weren't interesting or relatable or very well developed. You didn't really care too much about them to even root for them that much

Yeah I’d totally agree with that.

My friend seemed to think that Robert Pattinsons character was the woman sons though

I spent a long part of the film trying to work out if they gave John David Washington's character a name. I eventually worked out he was called 'The Protagonist' - I'm not even sure if that is a spoiler.

The music being so loud that you can't hear the dialogue is unforgivable, in my opinion. No reason for it.
