So what are you guys doing for Christmas?

Are you spending it at home or are you visting your family and friends?

and who's cooking Christmas dinner?

Home on Christmas Eve, hopefully some good things on the telly. If not i'll be gaming.
Christmas Day with family, my aunt is cooking.
Boxing Day, same as Christmas Eve.

Going for a booze free Christmas, having a drink is fun on paper, but it makes me feel like crap in the end. I either have to carry on drinking all evening on Christmas Day, or stop and crash at like 6pm and not recover all night. Diet Pepsi's for me :D

Christmas Eve: gym in the morning then later I'm meeting with my cousins from Liverpool who I haven't seen for about 15 years or more and taking them to see my Great Aunt. Then at night I'm going to the Xmas Pub Quiz in my local.

Christmas Day: presents and all that in the morning, Great Aunt's in the afternoon for a good few hours (she's in a care home and can't come to us, she's 90 and isn't mobile at all bless her. We're her closest relatives, basically like my second Grandmother) then home to do nothing but eat [lots], drink [lots] and watch telly all night.

Boxing Day: no idea. Maybe go see some relatives or something but other than that nothing planned, probably a lazy day with the inevitable Turkey Butties. :joker:

Aww, hope you all have a lovely Christmas too, Kaz.
Muggins here is doing the Christmas dinner again. lol. (Not to blow my own trumpet) but I suppose that's a good thing as we know it's going to be nice. There's nothing worse than going to someone's house for a meal only to find they can't cook.

Christmas Eve - No set plans at all yet... some years I'll go out, some years I'll do nothing and wait  (or go to church at midnight)

Christmas - Big family lunch/dinner/celebration at home

Boxing Day - I always hear about it (and it's on calendars and such) but I don't know what this is. Most don't celebrate it here as far as I know

Christmas Eve - try and have a lie in and then I’ll eventually head up to my mam’s house where we’ll spend the evening watching Christmas films and having a couple of cheeky drinks.

Christmas Day - wake up, open presents, visit my dad, head around to my auntie’s for Christmas dinner, more drinking and probably some games?

Christmas Eve - Probably doing some last minute shopping in the morning, going for a meal in the day with the family and then coming back home and probably having a few drinks/nibbles and watching Christmas telly. I was considering going out this year but I like being with my family on Xmas eve.

Christmas Day - Open presents in the morning, get ready for the day, probably have a few drinks and sit round the table with the family, Christmas dinner, probably a game board of some sort, Christmas telly, have some more drinks and then off to bed!

Boxing Day - probably go out in the day and get some sales done if I can be bothered, then off out to get pissed for the Wigan Boxing Day tradition of fancy dress (am going as a devil :p)

NYE - Nothing planned yet, hopefully sort something out this week before it gets too late.

NYD - lazy day I would imagine with a roast dinner and Christmas/new year telly.

 You'd all be quite welcome to, lol and your boxing day meal sounds lovely, Kaz. Cold meats with chips, salad (or both) lol is delicious. What sort of Chutney do you have with it (if any). I get the pear and apple one and it's gorgeous. Do you have anything for sweet - like a trifle, or are you like us lot and just sit stuffing your faces with Roses, Celebrations and Quality Street? lol

Omg, my mum used to adore those. She always asked me to get her a box each Christmas but she never asked for the assorted one's. I think you can even get Strawberry and Mint one's now but i've never tried them.

Hope you and you're family have a lovely Christmas.... and the same goes for everyone else here. xxx

I'll see my friends tomorrow morning and then deliver any presents I've got left to give out and then I'll probably take some time to myself for the rest of the day since Christmas Day and Boxing Day will be entirely family-centric.

Off Christmas eve, parents and Nan going to my aunties so me and my boyfriend are going to have a take away and film night.

Working Christmas day 7 - 4 and then home for a dinner with the family and a lazy night. I do the christmas early so the girls in work with kids can be home to see them open their presents

Work boxing day on and off all day but hopefully got time to pop in a few family houses and say hello but pretty packed day.

Christmas Eve - Work until about 2pm, visit a few different family members to drop off gifts etc, then home to have a chilled night until 12am when we have some hot chocolate or a cuppa tea and open our presents, that's been our tradition for 20+ years.

Christmas Day - We have Dinner at my in laws house, none of us cook the main it gets catered in but I will make some home made soup for our starter and some nibbles for later on in the day

Boxing Day - Either go out for the day or just have a chilled day at home before we return to work on Friday

Christmas eve: unwrapping presents (with hopefully some old xmas special on tv like the mr bean one) nice piece of almond stollen, Christmas chocolates

Christmas day: playing video games, maybe watching a movie (also depends whats on tv) going in shower earlier than usual so i won't miss strictly xmas special, helping my nan with Christmas dinner while we have queen's speech on tv

2nd Christmas day (it's called here what you guys call boxing day): gourmet dinner prep mostly, but also watching a Christmas movie, playing more video games

new years eve: watching fireworks, and a tradition of mine watching the wilkommen year show on tv (live from brandenburg tor) a music show

new years day: nothing that special tbh, other than family new year wishes
