I saved TiBB the bother of going through a whole thread on the matter, and put it all in one post on my blog. The link to that post.. is here: https://agsareviews.blogspot.com/2020/01/best-of-2019.html
If you could give it a read, that would be lovely :spin2: The write-ups for the songs were a bit too much and left me spent by the time I picked my album order, so no reasons for the albums, sorry.
...I still haven’t heard the full album, Magdalene...I’m really bad at listening to complete albums...I’m off out soon so I’ll look forward to indulging in your write ups later......

Any time a song captures that sense of feeling lost in your own hometown, or being unable to keep up with change, it resonates deeply with me
*slides a now that's what I call pop-punk album across*
... ‘Any time a song captures that sense of feeling lost in your own hometown, or being unable to keep up with change, it resonates deeply with me and whilst it's not a comfortable sensation, it's comforting to hear such thoughts put into a song as perfect and bittersweet as this...‘...
...I can’t think of a more beautiful reason for a #1.....
...I’m going to have to listen to some of The Black Keys album, I think...
...Thank you, Shaun.....
