This week they decided each buy their own food. So what are they going to do now they have four more mouths to feed and no communal food to share out to the new housemates?

Nah dont think BBs as nice as that Lol
Their going to struggle big time, it's been bad enough the last couple of weeks but with more mouths to feed and more people to please it will only get worse, expect to see alot more arguments as well.

Why should they give them extra food. They selected the method they did for buying food. If they had got stuff as a group they could have made it last.

Why not?
Can you imagine the complaints it would generate?
And they could threaten to quit...

I can't see anyone complaining except the housemates. And if they leave so what Big Brother will replace them. Big Brother is bigger than the housemates. That is how the show works. As soon as Big Brother gives in the show is over.

Yup, they replace the housemates...
...then they give the new housemates no food...
...then the new housemates walk...
...then the new housemates are replaced by newer housemates...
(repeat process until Big Brother gives them food)

Lets hope one lot passes a task.
They might complain but they signed a contract and they want their bit of fame and win the game. What is the point of taking part if you don't want to win.
You don't go in the house for a good time. Anyone that watches the show knows it not all fun. Most of the time it is boring.

Food is a necessity Red. If the housemates run out they have to give them more.

You can last weeks without food. Water in the short term is a necessity. Given the average body mass index in the UK they could last a few weeks if not more.
In the real world if you make a mess of the food budget you don't eat. Why should the house be different?

Yup, but this isn't the real world, this is the Big Brother house.
If there is 900 complaints that Emily was punished for breaking the rules, there would certainly be a few if Big Brother neglected the housemates.
I wouldn't put a mass walk-out past them.

I know two people that would stay and that would be the twins. They are having to much fun to leave.
If anyone complained to OFCOM about a few people getting no food for a couple days, they should be ashamed of themselves. There are hundreds if not thousands of people dying everday in some parts of the world and they aren't bothered even to write to there MP's.
As for the housemates going for a mass walkout they couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. If they could they would have enough food. I can't see them walking out.

Not necessarily to OFCOM.
And I just said I wouldn't put it past them. I can't see them walking out but I wouldn't put it past them.

Okay so the viewers complain to Channel 4, now that wouldn't do them any good, it takes them five days to reply to a compliant. I know I have done it.

More fool them and they wonder why the housemates do what they like and take no notice of the rules. It's like kids if you have rules then you don't bend them for any reason. The same applies to the kids in the Big Brother house.
Let them go without, they might learn something that way.

I don't know I have been on here all afternoon sorting out the Big Brother 8 section and putting things inn the right places. They might have earned a big meal for the house or some treat.

The new housemates who, after a rousing performance of 'YMCA' were rewarded with a luxury shopping budget for next week, gained the adoration of their hosts by deciding to shop for the whole house.
After the unanimous decision, the boys - mainly Jonathan, Billi and Liam - drafted in Nicky and retreated to the bathroom to compose their list.
Nicky dived straight into the role, telling them what the house needed and in what quantity.
However, Jonathan took control of the process and, as the writer of the list, made final decisions on what to get.
At one point Nicky tried to change a particular food item they had already calculated into the budget and was told briskly by Jonathan that he did not want to recalculate again. When Nicky tried to reason she was shut down firmly by Jonathan who said: "No, not interested."
When the group realised they had gone over budget they began cutting items at a fast pace but Nicky tried to reign them in saying: "It hasn't gone all wrong, don't panic."
In the end everybody was pleased and they even had extra cash to squeeze in chocolate.
On finding out what the boys had done the other housemates were very appreciative with Carole telling them: "You didn't have to do that."
"Awww, that's so considerate," added Chanelle.
