Me and the TL just did a walk and went to Asda and I bought a texmex pizza, a copy of Web USer and a bottle of Woodsman Whisky (as it was on a great offer of £18 and i have never tried this blend - aimed at the younger man and made by Whyte and Mackay)
The TL bought Blueberries and some Encore dog food (pricey but so good and the dogs love it)

Nothing.
But we did win the lottery, £58 each for hubby and I.
He was in the post office picking up a parcel and checked his lottery at the till.
Took delivery of new cushions, lampshades and a throw for the front room, if that counts.

Is £30 too much for a book?
It's "Los Angeles: Portrait of a City" from Taschen (amazing books), it's almost 600 pages of photography in/around/about LA, it's MASSIVE. Been wanting it for years and brand new it's usually like £50 but I've noticed it's dropped... Treat myself or? Hmmm.

It's ordered! I figured I needed a treat after being poorly all week so it will be here within the next few days. Just love looking at pictures of the city so much, hope I get the opportunity to go there myself and see/photograph some of the sights/architecture myself someday soon. The book will do for now! :hee:

Thanks Kate! Yeah glad it's passed now, never nice but that was a miserable bug.
I also bid on and somehow won Grand Theft Auto V for my PS4 for £8... I had it when it came out for PS3 back in the day (5/6 years or more ago must be) but sold my PS3 not long after when I got my PS4 for Christmas so didn't play it long. Looking forward to re-playing and getting back into that whole world. :hee:

Oh I know, that. I was saying Smudgies post about buying shoes online was dated at the beginning of the month when I'm pretty sure none of us thought the situation would be this bad. I do feel massively for the posties, they are being expected to put themselves at risk without appropriate ppe. Its not on.
