Welcome to the TiBB Masked Singer! Tonight our first 8 singers are taking to the stage, and they’ll be competing in 4 battles. The winner of each battle will safely sail through to the second round - whilst the losers will face the public vote and one will be unmasked!

One of our judges called in sick, so Maxxie and Mitchell will be giving their thoughts - and the lovely Nicky91 will break any voting ties.

I'm The Lion because i just can't wait to be king of tibb whew and i really want to be a Lion in my next life so watch out racists mwah. I chose this song because i didn't want to be ****ing predicable and sing the lion king which is my favourite disney movie btw.I also wanted to show off my unique vocals. holistic vocal coach Ariel would be so proud.

Maxxie: That was a GRRRREAT performance! Was a, tight fit choice of a song too, perhaps a little too tight though as it was a little obvious but you showed us what you’re about and worked them claws! I encourage you to think outside the box a little more if you make it to next week, `I wanna see what the real lion has to give! `I saw a mention of a holistic vocal goddess in there, so as the user who broke the news to us I am going to go with firewire for now

I wanted to be a hotdog because who doesn’t want a massive sausage between their buns. The saucier the better for me, I need a good dollop of ketchup, Heinz, hp, daddies, ASDA’s own I’m not too bothered as long as its on there. I like some mustard too. Oh and cheese Im all about the cheese. I love the fact that hot dogs come in all shapes and sizes, I’m all for that, you can even get mini hot dogs, Id have to have 3 mini ones though!

I picked this costume because over the last few years, the Vulture has meant a lot to me. I picked a song from upcoming movie Birds of Prey and the Fabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn as a nod to the costume, and also to one of my favourite film characters.

I chose this costume as scream is one of my favourite movie series and who doesn't like a good scare? I love horror movies, any really. The song I chose this song as it connects to, another one of my favourite series, Friday the 13th. I think I'm taking a risk here but it's a good one to take. I hope to scream my way through the masked singer.

This costume was born out of the fact that I have a love for Anteaters. I came across one during a holiday in Brazil and ever since then I wanted to pay homage to this beautiful creature. The inspiration for this song came from the fact that I love a psychedelic trip and this video took me on a whole journey. I love being dominated, hence the tyrant and you can’t go wrong with a bit of Kali and Jorja.
