No as I am too self absorbed to care.
Well as the the Black Eyed Pies said ‘Shut up just shut up’

Yes HOWEVER I don't think it's impossible to be friends with a selfish and narcissistic person so long as A) You accept them for what they are and B) You don't let them walk all over you.
Not every friend has to be a paragon of virtue

Yes , over the years I have become quite untrusting of people I thought were good friends, I have several acquaintances now and one best friend who is more like a sister and I'de trust her with my life,it's better like that.

Again I don't think someone necessarily has to be trustworthy to be a friend, so long as you are aware that you can't trust them and DON'T trust them.
I think I'm maybe quite liberal in my definition of friendship I guess. Some of my favourite people are ****ing awful :joker:

You have to accept that friends with have good traits and bad, and either accept it and carry on or cut the cord! some people are very good at keeping friends for life, my sister is still in touch with girls she started primary school with at age 4, my life is littered with the skeletons of friends I used to have and lost touch with, but hey ho

I get that , I have 'friends' I know that are sometimes loose cannons but they have something likable about them , and they are always ok to me , so yes some 'rogues' are great fun.

As someone that can be quite selfish I can't really pull my friends up for that.
Tbh I'm a flawed person anyway so I don't mind if someone else also has glaring flaws, as long as their flaws don't personally harm me in any serious way.

I think being selfish is fine, I am 98% of the time
My ex was quite narcissistic and that just... goes downhill very quickly

Same with my ex and I. I think that's why she dumped me :smug:
