I can't be bothered to post a link.

Israel Folou is back in Rugby league and he'll be playing in the Super League for Les Catalans Dragons.

Folou was the one who tweeted something about gays burning in Hell.

Three hours after this was announced, Wigan Warriors announced that they will be making their fixture against Catalans, gay pride day.

I put this in serious debates section rather than sports section, because in Rugby Land, there's serious debates going on about this story.

So, does anybody think this is a bad or wrong move by the Catalans club, by signing him?

I've seen pretty much divided opinion on this today in the Rugby league World (fans, not media)

Do you think the response by the Wigan club, to hold gay pride day when they play Catalans is a good response to Catalans decision to sign Folou? Or is it just marketing, virtue signaling?

When Folou comes to play my team, should I join in with those that will undoubtedly boo him?

I think holding the match on gay pride day is genius.

Agree with Livia, its a great idea to hold gay pride om the day of the match.

I remember his rant that got recorded while he was in Church, his views were extreme imo, and tbh any gay players for the Dragons will probably feel uncomfortable working with him so I'm not sure if it's a good signing tbh.

So, I'm off to see Israel Folau tomorrow.

It will be his first away game in the UK.

Hull FC are going to be flying rainbow flags around the KCOM stadium.

The Hull Roundheads RUFC, the city's first male inclusive rugby team, will be in attendance.
