Heard something about the masked singer airing later this year so it’ll probably be replaced by that.
Maybe a BGT Champions 2 as well? Wouldn’t mind that tbf there’s heaps of acts they could use but it’ll probs be seen as too soon. Here for it eventually tho

Hardly.
uk just flops these days with singing competitions such as the voice, x factor
what british producers must do, is stay innovative with x factor so yes it needs this break maybe, in this time think of newer concept ideas to make it better, and also the room auditions like it was in the first x factor series
america, does well with both american idol (i mean i luv the days now more with Lionel Richie than with Cowell), and the voice hmm at least no longer blake shelton domination, but also loving Kelly Clarkson as coach
Germany i follow DSDS (their idols) i like it for it's vintage concept of room auditions, recalls, foreign bootcamp, viewer ratings wise it stays solid around 2 million, 3 million people depending if tuesday's audition eps or saturday regular episodes
they also got something like golden cd's per Judge a fast pass into foreign bootcamp

Dude, when you don't like things (which lasts a day) then you go on about it for ages so be quiet.

They need to do All Stars and then end on that

nah Jess
wish all of you guys could see DSDS too, quite lovely (almost feels like eurovision a bit, with many people from many countries auditioning)

go to RTL+ site, DSDS2021 sign-ups are now open btw
and yes foreigners can audition there too, even with no relation to Germany

I just randomly thought why not bring back pop idol? :joker: with people like Lionel Ritchie as judges and Lucian grange instead of Simon Cowell, something like that

As a die hard fan of TXF it clearly needs the rest so I'm happy about this news as long as it comes back within the next 5 years.
Also the show needs to start treating it's winners with more respect if it gets a second chance.
Its been crap for years now.. the last series that had any impact on pop culture was maybe the Little Mix one

Time it was rested it's been declining since 2010, so to rest it is a good move I think.
