I think I've said it before (?) but there is a issue with allowing title edits on older threads that would make the user experience worse on here, more than allowing it.

Why not just have a generic thread title, or have a part 2, 3 etc. or a 2020 version of thread?

Sometimes when a thread title is edited to something completely new it causes some confusion because the earlier posts don't correspond to the title.

No offense, but is something that can easily be explained. Plus we'll get told off if there's multiple threads on the one topic every time a title needs to be changed.
