Was just thinking about this whilst paying for something online... do you know your card number without looking at your card?

I've been surprised by the amount of people who don't, I've even used it when I'm a lil drunk and I can still remember the number and my password to view my account online...

Nah I have chrome linked across all devices and the card is saved... so I only know the last 4 digits + code from the back. TBF I have two current accounts and 3 credit cards so that would be a lot of numbers to remember :joker:

No.
Credit card, debit card, 3 savings account cards, no chance.
I know most of the credit card numbers, enough to shop online.
I have actually learned my mobile number, it has only taken me about 11 months.

I pay for most things online with paypal anyway and my computer has my card saved like TS said so usually all I need to remember is the 3 numbers at the back, which I do know

After over a decade of having a new number every 2 years, I kept my number last time I upgraded... so have now had the same number for just over 3 years. I think this is the first time I've ever known my number by heart. So apparently, it takes me 2.5+ years :joker:

This is very much me. Everyone thinks I am weird as I insist on cash, even for meals and such so I tend to have a fair amount of cash on me at any given time. All friends pay for even bottles of pop with card...meanwhile I will take 100 out of a cashpoint to last a few days instead..

Do you find people look at you like..someone stuck in the past when you use cash?! Makes me feel a bit of a weirdo tbh!

I only really deal in notes as well..I am like you, in that I withdraw about 100 at a time to last a few days but I always pop the loose change in a glass and then I use that all up on the day after all the notes are done..I can get from Sunday to Friday doing that.

I find that actually seeing the money in front of you makes you less willing to waste it on stuff you don't really need.

But no, I can't say anyone has said it's wierd or look at me like I am a wierdo.

Definitely, when I have tried to move with the times and use card, I find I massively overspend. I do that with gambling too (most know I have a..slight issue there) in casinos with cash, I can limit myself. Online, its not 'real money' (even though I know it is..if that makes sense) so its not unusual for me to empty my account instead of spending twenty quid!

Must just be weirdos I know who think I am a weirdo for using cash then :D

Most I ever won was 7k, in about an hour. I deposited 30 to get that.

Its rare though.

Plus that big win made me worse long term as I was trying to beat that constantly.

I have gone back to cash for weekly food shopping and petrol, I have a 123 credit card that I used to pay off at the end of each month, some months my eyes would be out on stalks at how much I had spent, so easy just going tap tap tap tap. with the card.. much prefer using cash now

I got really lucky. I started with 20 quid and played it up to 130 quid..decided to risk ten quid on one spin before my bed..I got the bonus game thing and won 1500 odd from that..withdrew it instantly..

Don't know what to think now though because there is a video going round this week of a guy who won 134 thousand quid in one spin, on the same game with the same stake.

EDIT. .i watch videos of the slots now to stop me playing. .I find it works for me.

I did temporarily, to stop me reversing it and playing it back..as a lot of sites leave it to be reversed for ages hoping you will do that..some of them even send emails saying basically 'if you reverse this and play, you will win more, PLUS we will give you a 50% bonus' and that.

Over time though, I have found I prob deposited more after that as trying for that again. Its also for me..more the 'high' of a big win than the win itself, which is probably what makes me a problem gambler tbh.
