So because of Coronavirus there may be a possibility that Love Island might not air this summer.

Now is the time to therefore bring back BB. As long as the potential housemates are not showing signs of Coronavirus all we are doing is locking them in a house anyway.

With Love Island you still have to go abroad through airports etc.

Technically speaking it would be safer to cancel all TV shows and just air 24/7 repeats of Dad's Army until October

Yeah and they should use that virus artwork that was on the forum yesterday! Then when shizz really hits the fan it will just be a real live version of dead set

Imagine if there was a BB series where the housemates go in just before it all breaks out and they have no idea that the UK is going into lockdown outside the house. And because so many people are self isolating they bring back live feed so it's all everyone watches all day and it ends up being the most successful series ever :o

But what about when Production need to come into the House to setup tasks? Or bring the Shopping List Items into the House? At any point the Production crew could have someone amongst them that is carrying the Coronavirus.

I want BB back eventually as well, but now would be the worst time to do it imo.

Nothing is safe at the moment. If Big Brother were to return it's more the crew aspect than the housemates - they can be (and usually are) isolated for two weeks prior so social distancing once they're in the house may not be an issue, and yes pretty much everything can be filmed remotely - but it'll be a long time before "work" returns to normal for any of us.
