Looking at the BBLB set, and in the house, the spaces where the housemates faces go still have a few gaps, so there almost certainly will be more housemates. I doubt it'll be this week though.

Yes I think the "communication" thing is a great idea. During the ads, we see some housemates calling each other, it was in BB6 Germany: The Village, when the 3 houses (Rich, average, poor) could call each other.
