So like I went in on Saturday coughing and being sick and have been self isolating since Saturday. There’s 5 of us with all the symptoms, one girl has it really bad.

Honestly I’m so bored

I’ve had takeaway 3 nights in a row as I forgot to buy supplies before I left from my store

But today I’ve lost my sense of taste and I kept coughing when I ate last night, it was like the food was itching my throat.

just don't stress, panic

do everything according to procedure, properly wash your hands


and some things to do in self isolation, maybe few board games, or a puzzle, word puzzle

or a nice movie marathon, for distraction

also hope you got good stash of vitamin A, vitamin C which is never bad to have couple more of those in times like this

I'm not a doctor but I'd honestly say that this doesn't even sound like you have Covid. You've mentioned vomitting, loss of appetite and scratchy throat... none of those are symptoms. Either you have it AND something else (which isn't impossible) or you don't have it at all. I'm not saying quit self-isolating, but I wouldn't worry too much about having it.

You first said you had symptoms 5 days ago, if you don't have severe symptoms and are still generally OK you're going to be fine even if it is Covid. In fact I'd be hoping it IS Covid since you'll be well in a week and probably immune.

That said many report that they felt better after a week but then got a lot worse quickly ..

Yeah I still have no taste and smellThat's chronic sinusitis and it's awful. I get it every time I have a cold. It's ****ing miserable not being able to taste anything, you never want to bother eating because you might as well be chewing on cardboard.

I swear if anyone wants to lose weight... Just somehow give yourself chronic sinusitis because the temptation to snack is completely zero.
