I was supposed to be going to Ireland to see my family at the beginning of May but I doubt that's going to happen now, I am really upset about it. It was Father's Day here in Portugal yesterday, we couldn't spend time with my bf's dad. BF's sister's birthday is tomorrow, won't be able to see her either. BF's Grandma's birthday is next month too, she's going to be 89, bless her, we probably won't be able to see her for months. It's mostly family things that I'll be missing out on. Typing that out has made me emotional. You don't really know how good the people are in your lives until you don't have the option to see them.
I'm supposed to be getting Portuguese citizenship soon, doubt it will happen until late in the summer or even until autumn now.

My 30th Birthday Party in June isn’t happening it seems. I’m absolutely gutted honestly, as many of you know I’ve been working hard to lose A LOT of weight (8.5 stone down, 1.5 to go) and my party was like the end destination, “the big reveal” if you like. I never had an 18th/21st because I was too unwell with anxiety/depression too. I’m still gonna continue as best I can with the exercise and diet but it’ll just not have a big end point now you know? Never mind.
Alan Carr in June too will probably be called off.
Also, was hoping to go down to London with some uni mates to see the Andy Warhol exhibition at the Tate. Not happening.

My daughter had her first-ever live event booked (Billie Eilish in Manchester with my wife, mother in law and sister in law) and it's been postponed indefinitely... she's gutted :bawling:.
We have a 3-day trip booked next week and unless there are literal road blocks we're still going :umm2:... it's a house in the middle of nowhere and it's been empty since mid February so Covid-free :joker:. We're driving straight there with enough food for the whole three days and then straight back home so  ... little reason not to go. All we'll be doing is some dog walking and enjoying a nice quiet house.

Aw, that's a shame about your birthday but to put a positive spin on it, once you can rearrange you will hopefully be at your target, everyone will be ready to really celebrate and you will look amazing  and have the best celebration.
Oh and wow....well done, that's amazing weight loss :amazed:

I plan weekends away round the racing like many of us do but its all on hold. even the local clubs that have no more than a dozen dogs racing on a sat morning have closed. its all very weird isn't it? only 5 people allowed @ funerals???? lets hope its all over with by june x

I’m supposed to be seeing Six the Musical in June but we’ll have to wait and see depending on how long this lasts with theatres being closed.

Well there are reasons not to because you might be virus carriers and leave that little gift for the cleaner?

We've cancelled now anyway, looking like they're going to put in travel restrictions because the roads north are packed with people trying to flee to the Highlands with tents. Also it was an air bnb and they're giving full refunds on all bookings at the moment, makes more sense to have the money aside in case we need it.
