I aim to put an end to snipey comments on peoples posts. The endless attacking of some members by the same members for no reason

I aim to bring positivity to the forum by making chat and games the main focus of the forum. I think Interactivity and fun bring out the best in people


I also think we need a good party every now and again so if I win I can guarantee every friday night is party night. There will be a chosen theme for that night lets say hmmm movies or Guilty pleasures or Girlband vs Boyband and I will use my DJing skills to bring you some bops!

I aim to put an end to snipey comments on peoples posts. The endless attacking of some members by the same members for no reason

I aim to bring positivity to the forum by making chat and games the main focus of the forum. I think Interactivity and fun bring out the best in people

I also aim to make there be a like function on peoples posts. Sometimes things people post are absolutely fantastic and they deserve credit!

Unless you can identify the problem as highlighted by the manifesto, then how can we trust the pm to deal with it? I think the party has made an error putting that in there.

I second what Kazanne has said to name and shame is not our style at this party. We shall end the snipey comments by simply promoting the idea of being kind and being happy and in time these will silence the haters.

We allow place for banter but unnecessary hurtful things by trolls isnt the place to do it here. Thats what we will be working on

But lets not all get caught up in just that part of the manifesto

The other aspect is to be happy! Which will mean chat and games will become a large aspect and I promise a different themed party every friday night

At a time when pubs and clubs are closed we all need this!

yes Jake, some of our pubs here have already started organizing these ''online pub nights'' on facebook, also with one DJ playing some music, and also a advice of people to meet up on social media, to chat with each other, and still socialize like that

The mods do a great job and with our team we can help them to continue to be great which is why the mods should also support this campaign and it is a great thing that one of the mods is one of the 5 supporters

And as you say im the only candidate doing what we have been asked therefore showing my loyalty to my people

I like your vibe son but if you want a little input from an ex-forum-admin - post "likes" are a disaster. I implemented them on our forum, spent weeks on an entire custom code and layout for them.

They promote cliquiness and are used to bully. If you end up in a disagreement scenario, you end up with the "person with more forum pals" getting tonnes of likes on their posts and the less popular member getting few or none even if they're talking much more sense, and it just highlights the tribalism and creates an inequality in the weight behind individual posts.

If you want a nicer forum, I'd scrap that policy!
