every day is a holiday now in the west, due to this coronacrisis

if privacy is more important than controlling a virus here for us europe and united states, in asia they don't care about privacy, they are controlling it much better

It's does not existIt does actually - banks are open (but not on bank holiday :hee: )

Friend of mine is a loans manager at a high street bank and they're all still in Monday - Friday. Although as he puts it... His usual job is handling loan applications, his current job is yelling at pensioners to GO HOME.

It's nice being able to lounge about a bit in the morning rather than jumping straight on the PC but generally just feels pointless to be on holibobs . I mean I don't exactly NOT relax while I'm working anyway :hehe:. I miss my Monday morning routine of drinking coffee and getting paid to watch The Walking Dead :(. And my Wednesday routine of getting paid to watch The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow :(... And my Thursday... Well you see where this is going.

Actually I just checked work calendar and EVERYONE gets Friday and Monday off! Wtf I'm on annual leave, I better get those days added to my allowance :hmph:

But yes anyway my point there is, a lot of office workers are still working from home and will get 4 days off, so it does still exist. Just not for the people who aren't working right now.

a bank holiday is not just about having time off from work, it's about the opportunity to do something over the longest bank holiday of the year. The options available are not exactly vast
