Kelso is a small Border town but increasing becoming a big part in the fight to save lives of those infected by the Coronavirus.
Kelso has become #UniquelyQualified due to the number of people & companies involved, nationally, compared to the size of our population.
We can now add Abbey Tool & Gauge Ltd. They are participating in the United Kingdom's government’s efforts to expedite the manufacturing of ventilators in aide of the fight against COVID-19.
'ATGL are manufacturing parts for the assembly of ventilators for the National Health Service (NHS) to assist in the treatment of COVID-19 patients. These parts are being produced in our facility located in Kelso.'
ATGL would like to publicly acknowledge and thank our staff. They have gone above and beyond to contribute to the national ventilator effort.

Well Done to EVERYONE involved from #PlexusKelso #ScotmasKelso #AbbeyToolandGaugeKelso.

No wonder there's so many deaths in care homes.

Eindhoven

- Mayor Jorritsma here said there'll be no football in our city

- i noticed it is very quiet, not many planes, i mean no big planes just a few private planes in the air once in a while, and police/medical helicopters but overall very quiet

- i see more bird activity too, birds also feel more relaxed too

- just few people driving off with their cars probably for some groceries, pharmacy, or those who are essential workers

I live miles from a town. It's relatively easy for us to self-isolate.
